Solomon, AND WHAT HE DOES

Established since 1982. Member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen. Solomon started his journey as an apprentice at H & L Epstein of London. There he learnt traditional upholstery and antique restoration. A few years later, in 1982,he ventured out on his own and opened his first workshop on the Archway Road, Highgate, where he dealt in re-upholstery and restoration of fine furniture.

Nothing brings a piece of furniture to life as much as re-upholstery. Solomon Upholstery has over 40 years experience in traditional upholstering techniques, such as hand-wound coil springs, ‘stuff and stitch’ horsehair stuffing and cotton padding. With our expertise we can help bring out the full potential of your furniture, whether it is a traditional antique piece or something more modern. The team at Solomon Upholstery will work closely with you to achieve the results you want – we are confident that you will be delighted with the end result.

We can also help bring your décor together, as we make soft furnishings to any design or size. We have thousands of fabrics to choose from, including leather.
